The Great Allentown Comic Con! Adds New Faces And Returning Favorites To 2011 Mega Show Lineup!

Sept. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Allentown PA, — The Great Allentown Comic Con expands its 2011 Mega Show guest list to include additional NT Times Bestsellers, Hot Artists and “coming soon” series creators.

“With these current guest announcements we are continuing to push into the Sci-fi and Horror genre, while also remaining true to our Comic and Pop Art fan base. ” – Christopher D. Wertz, Show Founder and Promoter.  “We are pleased to be able to provide our fans a chance to meet such amazingly talented artists and creators such as Mighty Avengers’ Khoi Pham, Grimm Fairy Tales’ Chris Moreno and Mini-Battle Men’s ZEES Moreno.  Independent creators and GACC fan favorites such as Nick Mockoviak and Tom Krohne are returning, and joining them for the first time at our shows are Primo Cardinalli, Charles Dowd, Gwen Patton, Jesse Hughes and Lauren Perry to name a few.”  

In addition to these great artists we are also expanding our author and creator guest list with NY Times Bestseller and comic book legend Peter David.  Not only was Peter the longest and most influential writer on iconic Marvel Comics series The Incredible Hulk, but he has also played an important role in the Star Trek universe; writing and co-creating the Star Trek: New Frontier series for Pocket Books for one example.

Peter will be joining fellow Crazy 8 Press founder Michael Jan Friedman at panels all weekend long.  Other series creators include Dead Man’s Party co-creator’s Jeff Marsick and Artist Scott Barnett.  Both Jeff and Scott will be on hand Sunday to show off their new series which will launch at the end of October.
