T.Worx Ventures Announces Key Development Agreement With Leupold & Stevens

Sept. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- ASHBURN, Va., Sept. 28, 2011 - Carl J. Wallace, chief executive officer of T.Worx Ventures, which is a subsidiary of specialty manufacturer PPI, announced today a technical development agreement with Leupold & Stevens, Inc. of Beaverton, Oregon. Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is the one of the largest manufacturers of optical rifle scopes in the world and was established in 1907.

The development agreement between the two companies initially specifies the integration of Leupold Tactical Optics’ HAMR carbine riflescope with T.Worx Ventures’ carbine, powered-rail technology.  The T.Worx Ventures’ powered rail is a patented system that improves the warfighter’s effectiveness by providing a centralized power source for all mounted weapons accessories.  This development program is important to both companies as the industry identifies new technologies to assist the individual warfighter and supporting units in power management and next-generation optics.
