Sept. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Tracesmart has announced its support of the Salvation Army, providing its tracing services to the globally recognised charity to help trace (www.tracesmartcorporate.co.uk/trace-people/]trace people. The partnership will assist The Salvation Army’s Family Tracing Service by improving their tracing capacity and effectiveness and increase the number of families they reunite.
Recognised for their work with vulnerable people – largely those who are homeless and older people – the Salvation Army has more than 800 social services centres and churches in the UK and Ireland. The charity also runs more than 120 drop-in centres, which offer support and help for people in need and serves around 3 million meals every day at community and residential centres. In contrast to this largely publicised charitable work, the Salvation Army’s Family Tracing Service is relatively unknown, yet provides an important provision that currently helps to reunite over 10 families in the UK every day.
Following the recent introduction of the facility, Major Graham Kinsley, The Salvation Army’s Director of Family Tracing Service gave a statement about Tracesmart’s operational support: “Our searches for long lost family members are now much faster, which is very important given that we handle around 2,500 new enquiries each year. More families will be reunited and more lives made whole again, thanks to the service from Tracesmart.”
Established in 1999 by leading tracing specialists, Tracesmart has since become one of the UK’s leading data solution providers. Its constantly updated consumer data, and key services which include [url=www.tracesmartcorporate.co.uk/trace/), data cleansing, mortality screening and identity verification are utilised by a wealth of organisations from SMEs to FTSE 100 listed companies to help find, identify and profile customers to improve communication.
Commenting on the company’s recent commitment to The Salvation Army, Owen Roberts, Tracesmart’s Head of Public Relations stated: “The Salvation Army is an inspiring global organisation that has helped so many people at difficult times in their lives. When we became aware that the charity provides a family tracing service, it was an obvious partnership with clear synergies. We understand the impact that reconnecting with a loved one can have on someone’s life, so we are particularly happy to offer our support.”
