Best of Canada Natural Health Awards 2011: Nominations opening October 10

Sept. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Come tell Canada about your favourite natural health products and people! If you take vitamins, see a Massage Therapist, or even if you just read a natural health blog now and again, we want to hear from you.

The Best of Canada Natural Health Awards is gearing up for its second year of gathering nominations and tabulating votes for the top Canadian natural health practitioners, products, and personalities. The Awards are designed to honour the people’s choice in the complementary and alternative health care sector.

Canadians prefer to make purchases based on recommendations rather than on advertising, so here’s the perfect chance to share yours. Each new nomination automatically generates a profile page where other participants can vote and even share a brief testimonial.

The Awards are about sharing: letting others know about that hidden gem you have found. New this year is the voting category ‘My Favourite Find’ - a catch-all grouping of products and therapies discovered this past year.

Managing Director, Gisela McKay says, “This year we want to put the spotlight back on communication rather than competition. In fact, the major category won’t have a winner - or even rankings. It’s there to let people declare what new thing they’ve found that they wouldn’t want to be without. And out of the list the ten items recommended most often will become the focus of content shared with other media.”
