Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- The Ping i15 Driver is a very nice club. In fact it has made the short list for my new bag makeover. The ball jumps off the face; it has a very solid feel and can be worked. I did find that my draw --10-15 yards was slightly less than with the Titleist driver  that I currently love….My ball flight was typical…sort high, but when I focused on hitting a low shot, ball back in the stance and tee’s lower…the ball screamed about head high.

The i15 driver has a hotter sweet spot by a few yards although it is not as lively across the entire face as the G15 driver.  This way the better golfer gets more feedback in his hands when he does not strike the ball dead center, which tells him how and where he is striking the club face more easily.  Where with the G15 he could not be striking the ball as well but still feel as though you had struck pay dirt on the face. With the i15 driver you know exactly where on the face it was struck by the feel and ball flight pattern. And this is the main reason why every single digit handicapper we tested thought it was the better driver in their opinion.

The G15 is an easy-to-hit, high-launch, lower-spin version of 2008's successful G10 driver. What's improved is the rearward weighting that helps get the ball airborne very easily. The i15 Golf Equipment Sale has an internal fade bias as well as lower spin and a hosel that is farther from the face. That means greater workability for lower-handicap golfers.

Ping states that the i15 is for the player seeking "traditional look and feel" in a driver. Sitting on the rack in the golf shop, the i15 doesn't exactly scream traditional look presuming "traditional" means resembling a persimmon head, and a few hits in the cage will confirm that the Golf Clubs Sale does not feel all that much like persimmon, either. Clearly, traditional has more to do with the pear-shape of the i15 than its size. It would be true to say that the i15 driver looks slightly more "traditional" than the G-15 and most other drivers on the market today.

The fade-biased design of i15 Driver meets the needs of golfers who place a high priority on working their tee shots. The traditional pear-shaped 460cc titanium head is engineered with a bulge crown design and deeper face to http://www.worldgolfsale.com/Golf-496-Ping-i15-Driver.html optimize energy transfer for greater ball speed and the solid feel preferred by better golfers. Internal weighting reduces spin and the hosel is positioned slightly back from the face to help promote tour-preferred trajectories and control.
