Celebrating ‘World Heart Day’ – Free Medical Check-ups at AlphaOne, Amritsar

Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- On the occasion of the World Heart Day, September 25, 2011, AlphaOne in association with Fortis Escort Hospital is organizing free medical check-ups for the people of Amritsar at AlphaOne, Amritsar. A paramedical staff along with doctor will be available at the centre for free medical check-ups on September 25, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This unique initiative by AlphaOne and Fortis Healthcare would also provide free consultation to heart patients, educate them on how to take care and manage emergencies. The initiative also aims to raise awareness of the importance of healthy diets and physical activity among children and their parents. World Heart Day is observed on the fourth Sunday of September every year with the aim of encouraging all those who had experienced a heart attack to live a life free from the stress and problems that led to the attack.
