Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Laurel, MD - Black Bag Productions, a full service event company, proudly announces the official launch of their new magazine, Black Bag Bridal.  The online quarterly has been designed exclusively for ”encore” brides, brides over 40, and, brides of African-American, Hispanic, Asian and Indian cultures.  Recognizing for a number of years that there were no magazines focused on this particular market, especially encore brides and brides over 40, owner Kim Moss decided to create something to fill the need.  Moss, a certified wedding planner who planned her own encore wedding in August 2005, found it challenging to find the right style.  “Being over 45 at the time was already challenging to go into David’s Bridal and try on dresses that didn’t make me look crazy and clueless about my age – everything is really directed toward to the under 30 crowd and I wanted to have an elegant affair.”  While planning a client wedding in August 2009, Moss became more determined to launch the magazine targeting the audience she was a member of and found other colleagues who recognized the same need.

When Black Bag Productions began the search for editors, they received immediate responses from Diane Freeland, principal at Events of Sophistication, Gina Lett, principal at Inspirations by Gina, both certified wedding planners and event planners.  Fashion curator Monica Barnett, principal at Blueprint for Style brings a wealth of experience for brides and bridal party members looking for flattering and age appropriate style.  Beauty editor, LeKisha Gentry, principal at The Luxe Group Mobile Bridal Spa and Salon, an award winning beauty professional with advice for skin care and more.  Last, but certainly not least, internationally recognized author and wedding expert Deborah McCoy, Founder and President of the American Academy of Wedding Professionals.  “I was so excited that Black Bag Productions was creating this magazine.  Kim became certified through the AAWP program and we wanted to support her as much as possible” noted McCoy who will author the column “Ask Deb” fielding questions on wedding etiquette, blended families and all things wedding.  The online magazine quarterly will also address subjects normally saved for after the honeymoon and through articles written by experts in their respective fields.

The magazine’s first ten pages are available free, but to read the entire issue the reader will be directed where to purchase. The official launch took place on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 and can be found at www.blackbagbridal.com.  For more information on Black Bag Productions, visit the site at www.blackbagproductionsonline.com
