Sunrise Aviation Attends APATS 2011 in Bangkok

Sunrise Aviation attended the Asian Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) held in Bangkok, Thailand from September 20-21, 2011. Among the themes of APATS 2011 were global challenges for airline pilot training.

Sept. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Bangkok, Thailand.  Sunrise Aviation attended the Asian Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) held in Bangkok, Thailand from September 20-21, 2011.  Among the themes of APATS 2011 were global challenges for airline pilot training, innovative approaches to training future pilots, pilot selection tools, and techniques for teaching aviation English.  Patrick Murphy, Director of Training, attended APATS 2011 for Sunrise Aviation.

Major presenters at the APATS 2011 conference included representatives from airlines in Asia, major simulator manufacturers, aircraft manufacturers, and government regulators.  Exhibitors also included small aircraft manufacturers, training organizations worldwide, a wide variety of simulator manufacturers, software and training material vendors, and universities.

Sunrise Aviation has attended several of these events organized by Halldale Media and held in Asia and Europe.  Halldale Media is also the sponsor of the World Airline Training Symposium (WATS) held in Orlando, Florida annually.

In a new partnership with Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), Sunrise Aviation can now offer 2 year and 4 year college degrees along with pilot training.
