Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children Announces 2nd Annual West Texas Golf Classic

Sept. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) is proud to announce the second annual West Texas Golf Classic will be held Monday, September 26, 2011, at the historic Lubbock Country Club. Proceeds from this tournament will benefit the young patients at TSRHC. Chairmen of the Board for the 2011 West Texas Golf Classic are Neely and John Birk of Lubbock.

As special friends of TSRHC and active members of the community in the West Texas area, the chairmen and board members help to raise awareness of TSRHC through this invitational golf tournament. The support of individuals, corporations, foundations and special events, such as the West Texas Golf Classic, allows the hospital to continue to provide premier orthopaedic care to thousands of Texas children, including approximately2,800 children from the Lubbock area. More than $65,000 was raised at the inaugural tournament in 2010.
