Spectators urged to show support for Admiral Swansea Bay 10k entrants

Sept. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The Admiral Swansea Bay 10k takes place on Sunday 25 September and will see thousands of entrants from across the UK and the world taking part in what is widely recognized as one of the UK’s premier road races

Spectators are encouraged to support the runners and will be able to enjoy a comprehensive pre-event warm-up and plenty of entertainment, stalls and a mascot race.  

The race follows a flat, fast scenic course along the picturesque sweep of Swansea Bay and includes those running for charity along with more experienced athletes, some celebrities and those simply taking part for fun.

In addition to the main 10k race there will also be a 10k wheelchair race along with four junior age group races covering 5k, 3k and 1k.  There's still time for children to enter one of the junior races with entries open on the day but hurry this is only if spaces are still available.
