Daniel Qualifies to Join Latimer Hinks' Growing Team of Solicitors
Daniel Williams, 29, turned to law relatively late and has switched life as a mortgage broker with a large corporation in the City for a career in law with Latimer Hinks.
Originally from Dover, Daniel moved to the North East to study a one-year CPE law conversion course at Northumbria University. He then joined Latimer Hinks Solicitors and has now completed his two year training contract, working in the private client department.
The firm has a growing stable of young talent, with Daniel following on the heels of two other lawyers, Victoria Moremon and Kelly McLoughlin, who both qualified in the Summer of 2010.
Victoria, who hails from Middlesbrough and works across the private client department and residential property and land estates work, studied law at Teesside University and combined her legal practice course at the College of Law in York with her training programmer at Latimer Hinks.
Kelly, from Sedgefield, iqfop joined the firm as a secretary in 2007, having previously studied law at Northumbria University. She studied her legal practice course at Northumbria University, started her training contract in 2008 and now works in the private client department.
Daniel said: "Having worked in a large firm with around 1,000 employees in the City, I wanted a change of career and a different pace, which the North East and Latimer Hinks gives me, while still ensuring I am working with a highly skilled team at a highly reputable firm.”
Nicola Neilson, training partner at Latimer Hinks, said: "The growing number of young lawyers coming to work with Latimer Hinks is a testament to our reputation as a North East-based firm, serving clients across the UK and overseas. We are very proud of our training record and our younger solicitors, such as Daniel, Victoria and Kelly, form the backbone of the firm’s future, building upon a strong history of providing high quality legal services to our clients.”
