The New York Times said:  "The voices may leave a pleasurable tickle in your ears for a few days, possibly because most of us have never studied them closely before. They're the quiet murmurs of the city that usually form a dimly perceived backdrop for our own daily dramas.”
Karen, a seasoned actress, performer, writer and director, says she’s been “in love with performing since her first acting venture as a duck in the second grade.” She appeared in the Florida regional premiere of Bridge & Tunnel and was awarded the 2011 New Times Best Actress award for her performance.
Bob Carter, artistic director of Actor’s Rep, has also directed Karen in "Loquacious & Bodacious: The Life and Times of Zora Neale Hurston." Actor’s Rep will be bringing that to its stage during Black History Month in February.
