Sept. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- El Toro, CA – July 21, 2011 – Autowerkes in conjunction with PCA OCR (Porsche Club of America Orange County Region), received a record turn out for their latest members race held at the El Toro racetrack.

Drivers began arriving at sunrise, and prepping their rides until the flags went up at noon. PCA ORC Club President Bruce Powers, provided hot dogs and cold beverages to members and fellow car enthusiasts eager to see their favorite high performance automobiles in action.

Time trials were held on the Auto X El Toro racetrack; which proved to be the perfect environment for Porsche racers to learn, be safe, and have fun. While trials were open to any make and model, Porsche led the pack by consistently clocking in the day’s best times.

Straightaway racing commenced later in the day on Auto X’s long track, as Porsche drivers made another strong showing, with speeds reaching over 80 mph.

PCA ORC’s beautiful trophy girl Angela passed out prizes to the day’s best drivers, and took photographs with some very lucky attendees.
