Carlsbad, CA – The popular motocross consumer event, hosted by TransWorld Motocross and titled the TransWorld SLAM Festival is back, and will be taking place on Saturday, October 1 at the Milestone Ranch MX Park in Riverside, CA. Past SLAM events were packed to capacity with fans, pro riders and plenty of dirt entertainment as Wil Hahn and Dean Wilson were named SLAM champions in 2010 and 2009 respectively, claiming the cover of TransWorld Motocross magazine and cash prizes.  

This year's event kicks off at 8:00 a.m. where the Main, Intermediate, Vet and Kids' Learn-To-Ride tracks will be open to the public and ready to ride by novice, beginner/women/minis, intermediate, and pro riders of all ages. The TransWorld SLAM head-to-head pro race will take place at the Main Track, and the winner takes all, including prize money, the highly sought after TransWorld SLAM belt, as well as the cover of TransWorld Motocross magazine. The 2011 SLAM pro racers are to include Nick Paluzzi, Kyle Cunningham, Jimmy Albertson, Nico Izzi – and stay tuned for more riders to be announced on-site.  (Athletes may be subject to change.)    

Thanks to our sponsors: Red Bull, General Tire, Farmer John, New Era, Arnette, and Unit, this year's festival will again offer free admission and include a day full of activities for all ages including open track riding, giant vendor row, kids' learn-to-ride, Miss TransWorld Motocross Online Model Search Reveal Presented by Unit, and tons of prizes and giveaway opportunities. Maxima Racing Oils will also be offering oil changes onsite to all participants at no charge.
