Sculptor Joshua Harker's Kickstarter project, “Crania Anatomica Filigre: Me to You” is on track to be the most funded Sculpture project in their history within 2 weeks. It has also broken into the top 10 in Arts overall & still has over 30 days!

The sculpture at the center of all this activity is entitled “Crania Anatomica Filigre”. It's a delicate filigree skull that is built on a 3D printer. Harker, who hails from Chicago, has been a pioneer in the art of sculpture, using emerging 3-D printing technologies and sculptural software to turn his abstract visions into labyrinth-like works of art. For the first time, forms of this organic complexity can be successfully developed and reproduced.
“I believe this boon of technology is a revolutionary time for the arts and one which will be boldly marked in history,” said Harker, who is among just a few pioneering artist's using these emerging technologies & mediums to push the envelope of what can be done 3-dimensionally. “I am inspired to be part of a movement that celebrates a new approach to art creation and production.”
