The winners of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Best Places to Work Awards were announced during a ceremony held on September 16 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. In addition to the awards ceremony, the event included breakfast and a keynote address by Gary Kelly, CEO of Southwest Airlines.

Each year, the Atlanta Business Chronicle partners with Quantum Workplace to survey the metro area’s employers to find Atlanta’s Best Places to Work. This year readers nominated more than 500 companies and organizations. Quantum then surveyed employees at participating companies and organizations, using analytical tools to rank the top 100 employers in three categories: Large Employer, Medium-Sized Employer and Small Employer. Criteria for being selected included level of employee engagement, benefits packages offered to employees, work environment, corporate culture, empowering employees to reach their personal and company goals, and ensuring employees know and feel they are a top company priority.

Service Foods was recognized in the Small Employer category, which recognizes organizations with 10 to 100 employees. The company places a strong emphasis on healthy living for both its clients and employees.
