Association of Rhode Island Authors to Hold Inaugural Book Signing

The Association of Rhode Island Authors (ARIA) has announced that it will hold its first joint book signing event at the 24th Annual Apple Festival at Johnston Memorial Park on Saturday and Sunday, September 24th and 25th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sept. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- ARIA is a new organization that recently formed to raise awareness, promote and market works by published Rhode Island writers. Any Rhode Island author of either fiction or non-fiction is eligible to join and participate in the group.

The signing on Saturday and Sunday will feature novelists Steven R. Porter (Confessions of the Meek and the Valiant) and Adrienne Jones (Backbite); children's authors Jo-Anne DeGiacomo-Petrie (The Mystery of the Land of Letters), and Erin T. Whalen (Charlie's Head); and memoirist Rev. Lynne C. Holden (The Pastor has Gorgeous Legs) in addition to others. A complete schedule of participating authors and signing times can be found on ARIA's website iodcr at and may be subject to change.

Books from all participating authors will be available for sale at the event. Authors will be available to meet with readers and personalize copies.

The Apple Festival is an annual community event organized by the North Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce.
