IHMG songwriters Doug Simpson, Kareem Knight recipients of ASCAP's 2011-2012 ASCAPlus Award

Sept. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Ironhorse Music Group producers / recording artists Doug Simpson and Kareem Knight of The Aqua League are the 2011 recipients of the ASCAPlus Award.

The in-house production team's work has been featured on various commercial releases (Rough Draught, Sketches, The Velvet Gentleman parts I & II) as well as numerous television and motion picture projects including Millionaire Matchmaker, Celebrity Fit Club, MTV's True Life, My Super Sweet Sixteen, A River Washes Over Me and Universal Pictures Fast Five starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.

The Popular Division of the ASCAPlus Panel stated "this award recognizes [their] creative contributions to American music this past year".
