-- Alfred Johnson Quantum International founder, takes pride in launching a series of programs that assist a number of mentally challenged children who need care and assistance badly. Quantum International is associated with Texans for Justice, a non-profit 501 ( C ) 3 organization, successfully operating in Texas for more than 10 years. All contributions are tax deductible.
Basic Information About Project:
The programs are separated into two basic parts:
1). Help for abused children and spouses in the way of emergency shelter caught up in the legal system. Including also temporary housing and assistance. Each victim will use these emergency residential shelters for a period of 3 to 6 months, allowing them time to seek assistance from other programs. Included also are, housing placement, legal assistance, counseling, food and clothing distribution, transportation services, enrichment classes, recreation programs, and referral sources for job placement.
2. Help and assistance with the mentally challenged hurt by physical and social circumstances, with housing on a permanent basis. Permanent residences for mentally challenged people, especially young adults and parties without parental or family support. Services to the individuals also include, but are not limited to, counseling, housing placement, legal assistance,, food and clothing distribution, transportation services, job training, recreation programs, enrichment classes, and placement and skills training.
