They made their debut on the Italian music scene in 1980 as the founding members of Gay Cat Park, when they were only 14 years old.
They attained international popularity with their track “I'm a vocoder”, published first by the Italian label "Il Discotto".
“I'm a vocoder” became a “cult track” of the italo disco scene.
Davide and Graziano in the 80s worked for a dozen of Italian dance records that had great success with other artists.
But their original music, inspired by Kraftwerk and Isao Tomita was not commercial enough to be printed in those years.
Thus, most of their work (50 or 60 tracks) remained on standard UCXS Sony tapes or TEAC Tascam four tracks until today.
But on September 12 2011, Gay Cat Park has signed a contract with the USA label "Medical Records LLC" for the release of some 80s previously unreleased tracks on VINYLl!!!
"Medical Records" LLC is a record label based in Seattle, WA. USA that reprints on vinyl records lost classics from the late 1970s to early 1980s with a focus on synth, wave, minimal, prog synth, leftfield new-wave, cosmic and italo disco.
Davide and Graziano are already working with "Medical Records LLC" to the FIRST Gay Cat Park LP (Long Playing - 33 rpm)!!!
This LP will contain at least six or seven new tracks played by Gay Cat Park between 1982 and 1983!
