London Fashion Week First Highlights-Stylert.com

Sept. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- London Fashion Week has opened its doors yesterday and is showing the latest collections for Spring Summer 2012. The event has started on Friday 16th September and goes until Wednesday 21th September.


Among the list are several exciting newcomers as well some British designers who will return to London to show their collection. London Fashion Week is one of the world’s leading fashion happenings next New York, Paris and Milan, presenting 200 of the industry’s most creative UK International designers. Last season, London Fashion Week saw 68 designers showing on the catwalk schedule. February 2010 generated over £70 million press in the UK alone, this amounted to over £100 million worldwide press coverage.

Paul Costelloe was the first designer and opened the SS2012 LFW. The collection started out with a muted palette, but soon gave way for mint green and soft coral brocades, bright embellished minis with high ruffled necks and some amazing nipped-waist dresses with full shoulders and skirts in black and white.


Some of the world’s best fashion designers are putting their catwalk at the LFW, with a host of the best new designers showcasing too. Other top designers like Caroline Charles, Hannah Marshall, Orla Kiely, Richard Nicoll, John Rocha, House of Holland, Antonio Berardi, Betty Jackson, Craig Lawrence, Matthew Williamson, Kinder Aggugini, Mulberry, Vivienne Westwood, Nicole Farhi, Jaeger, Paul Smith and many, many more, so expect the best of the best.
