Homeless TEENAGE Brothers-- a true rags to riches story!!

Two brothers, one community, and a film ten years in the making. This is LIGHTHOUSE-- a true story.
Sept. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Lighthouse is a gritty, uplifting and redemptive coming-of-age narrative that follows the journey of two teenaged brothers, abandoned by their parents and left homeless in Portland, Maine. In the end, they embark on impressive life journeys: one will become an ER Doctor, the other the filmmaker. Think Good Will Hunting meets Slumdog Millionaire, narrated like Forrest Gump.

We have an amazing (and growing) coalition of some of Portland's finest organizations, including sponsorships and donations from Portland High School, Portland Stage Company, Portland Public Library, Mercy Hospital, Breakwater School, Greater Portland Transit District Metro, and most importantly, the Preble Street Resource Center. Preble Street is allowing us to film at Preble properties, including the Lighthouse Teen Shelter, Teen Center, and Soup Kitchen--the very institutions that provided for the boys! Our current sponsorships can be found at http://lighthousemovie.com/sponsors.html.

and a radio interview a few days later--
