ICON NEWS: Lew Marklin Tapes 232 Commercials Over 8 Weeks of Summer

Icon News Host Lew Marklin tapes 232 commercials for TV and internet as part of new advertising schemata that is proving itself effective.

Sept. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Hollywood, CA - Atomic Lawn Entertainment, LLC is proud to  announce a new campaign strata that boasts a list of 232 commercials, shot over the last 8 weeks, as Icon News gets ready to broadcast nationally on Dish Network and TUFF TV.  All 232 of the commercials are starring the host of Icon News, Lew Marklin, who many are calling the hardest working man on the planet.  It is part fo a marketing strategy, to do with TV, what radio has done successfully, by using on air talent to advertise on a weekly continuum.  The first campaign was less about money and more about beta testing a concept for a new media ad driven world that has created new demands.
     While two of the campaigns, one for Dragon Pearl Green Tea and another for Super Body Care Soap and body spray products, will air on TV, the other 230 will air exclusively on the internet, where advertising space is limitless.  In fact, most of the advertisers are very small businesses that are owned and operated by normal everyday people, from all around the world, who's budgets would never afford them the ad time that larger advertisers purchase in the national show's air time slots.  Some of the sites are for web products, travel agencies, hotels and various services.  Of the campaign, Atomic Lawn representatives state "This is a new world of advertising that we are in and a TV show like Icon News can take full advantage of all the internet coverage, while small providers can take advantage of access.  While the show gains steam and momentum it really helps us to establish this extra coverage.  Bottom line, these businesses have presence and traffic, that we are putting our show's spokesperson in front of 24 hours a day to every visitor of their site.  When they see Lew, they see Icon News, and we are very pleased that Lew has been such a strong contributor.  He has been an incredible work horse, pumping out these commercials like I've never seen before.  It's very impressive and it also says a lot about the guy's work ethic that he can output at this level.  He is building confidence in our sales team, who know that they can do their job, sell Lew to advertisers and he will deliver every time, without so much as a complaint."
        About the campaign, Lew Marklin says "When we first began this high octane ad campaign, I was excited, but I also hoped that I had the energy and ability to pull it off.  We just took it one day at a time, one project at a time and before we knew it I was up over 100, then 200 commercials.  I would not have probably done it, had I looked at the whole log list at one time.  I mean, if someone would have said, Lew get ready, in the next 8 weeks we have you down for 225 commercials or whatever it was, I would have laughed and said, good luck with that, but we did it and I feel really comfortable with the process now, for sure."
         The commercials air throughout the internet but the show, is still a couple weeks out.  Stay tuned for the official announcement and airing times.
