By: theONswitch Bo, CEO of The Daphne Baking Company, is launching their "Tarts for Two" Back-to-School promotion in conjunction with Whole Foods stores and their lunch bags. The Daphne Baking Company, which makes fresh-frozen tarts that come in packages of two (one for your child and one for a new friend!), will be offering value coupons for a free box of tarts ($4.99 value) in select Whole Foods stores. The tarts, which come in five flavors and unfilled shells (for creative moms), contain fresh ingredients and travel well from freezer to lunch bag to your child’s little stomach. "Kids love our tarts, especially the chocolate and lemon flavors," says Bartlett who started the company in 2007, after a long career as a Manhattan real estate broker. A mother of five and grandmother of two, she asserts, "There's nothing worse than sitting alone in that cafeteria. Having a cool lunchtime treat to share is a great ice-breaker!" The Daphne Baking Company tarts are available both online at daphnebaking.com as well as in New York metro area Whole Foods stores. "We like to say that our tarts are a royal treat for the common man," says Bartlett. "And every mom wants to believe that her kids are royalty!"
