Joe Schutt Awarded The 2011 Realtor Spirit Award By The Greater Boston Association Of Realtors

Sept. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Joe Schutt, a Boston Realtor® has been awarded the prestigious 2011 Realtor Spirit Award by the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR), the organization represents over 5,000 residential REALTORS® throughout the Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts area.

The Realtor® Spirit Award which was created to recognize agents and brokers who through their everyday actions consistently demonstrate the ideals that embody the very meaning of the term "Realtor®." Recipients are known for their strong professional ethics, a cooperative spirit, and willingness to share business knowledge, industry experience, and share personal time to help others succeed in their career.

Joe Schutt, a Realtor® since 2003, has become a very visible GBAR member in recent years. As a two-term chairman of GBAR's Technology committee, Joe's  opinions and knowledge of the latest tech trends are highly regarded by his peers. This past year Joe nearly singlehandedly organized RE BarCamp Boston, an "un-conference" where New England's prominent real estate technology experts gathered with agents to guide them toward the most useful and effective ways to manage their business.

In addition to the Technology Committee, Joe has also served on the GBAR's Education Strategy Committee and Strategic Planning Committees, as well as the Forms Task Force. Joe serves on the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® Technology Committee and sits on the Board of Directors for both Massachusetts Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®. He is a "Sterling R" level RPAC Major Investor and a graduate of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors®' Leadership Academy in 2011.

Joe works for Gibson Sotheby's International Realty in Boston's Back Bay, where he has been recognized a "top ranked" agent.
