Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- If you take a trip down memory lane where people used to wear something out of animal skin and when their hair were long and unruly. When the very main source of their food was animal meat --- that in order to survive, they have to scavenge for food and run after animals. They tracked them down, they had fun while running after them and the most ironic thing about it was the fact they never complained. In fact they were so happy to be out under the sun and they had nice set of teeth and their eyesight was even flawless, you would probably think it was during the Paleolithic times.

The paleolithic time was when agriculture was still not present in our lives. So everything then was so primal. Cavemen then had the perfect lean physiques and it has all something to do with their diet. The Paleo diet, known otherwise as the diet of the cavemen is all about eating animal meat, veggies, fruits, insects, nuts and un-refined oils. Paleo diet is all about the food the we were all supposed to eat because they have been coded in our genes ever since the world began. It’s so cute how other people would romanticize the paleo diet as the diet during the “Garden of Eden” times and maybe, they could be right.

To start paleo dieting, one must be very motivated enough to say goodbye to his favourite pasta and bread. One must also say goodbye to cakes, to sugar and to salt. When one starts paleo dieting, it means he has to take this full responsibility to be firm in this goal of his.

If you want to start the paleo diet, then all you have to do is start eating lean meats and pair them with fruits and veggies. You can cook your favourite steak, add a few carrots or with some basil to taste. You can even eat fish with olive oil and some berries. Chicken cutlets with avocadoes is also a good choice --- to start going paleo, is all about indulging in the foods you like – not think of them as enemies.

To start a paleo diet is about understanding that it is not the calories that matter but the kinds of calories and foods you put inside your body. To start going paleo is not all about thinking this diet is just fad but rather more of a lifestyle.

Paleo diet made our ancestors the way they are – free from any diseases. They simply avoided the foods that are unhealthy and ate properly in order to survive. To start on your paleo diet, you don’t need to become complicated with it. Life is simple and our eating habits must be simple too. With you do this paleo diet, it is best if you combine it with a good night sleep and with the right exercise.
