Sept. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- The Art Prodigy Exhibition Tour (APET) features International artist Anjalts “Gaia-Spirit of Earth” (20) piece collection of large canvases painted in 24k gold and oil is underway after a grueling selection process.  The traveling Exhibition is scheduled to start in Geneva, Switzerland and will make its way to New York, London, and Barcelona.  Other "art" cities are currently being added to the itinerary before the tour ends in Athens, Greece by May 2012.

The Exhibition highlights some of the most innovative prodigies in the Art World today, and provides a platform for the dedicated charity organization supported throughout the Artists' career.  "Today's young artists are beyond their vision painted on canvas," said Stephen Reiss, organizer of the tour. "A special few maintain an active role in utilizing their talents to help others, and that is what this Exhibition Tour and mission is geared towards; the mindset of such an artist.  Modern technology is quickly allowing new art forms and styles to emerge with numerous digital and video artists out there, but we wanted this Exhibition tour to highlight a greater purpose,” continues Reiss.   That is one of the main criteria for our panel to select artists that fits the eligibility required for this type of Art Exhibition.  One of the featured Artist Anjalts  continues to work with "Doctors without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières" (MSF), since 2008 and featured in the “Art Has No Borders”  Exhibition held in Los Angeles since 2009.  Proceeds from all artworks were donated towards MSF's mission that provides emergency medical care to millions of people every year, who are caught in natural disasters, crises & war damaged regions.

Doctors without Borders (MSF) serve more than 60 countries around the world and mainly provide specific medical assistance during catastrophic events, armed conflict, epidemics, and malnutrition for civilians and refugees.  MSF is a neutral organization of various medical doctors and staff that operates independently of any political, military, or religious agendas.  Medical and field teams are sent in first to conduct evaluations on the ground to treat patients immediately.  "Many dedicated doctors, nurses, supply experts, and field volunteers are right on the frontlines offering every support they can to those caught in between the chaos, including refugees who are displaced every day,” said Anjalts, “choosing to support this organization enables them to continue and maintain the necessary emergency medical care that allows them their basic human rights to restore, heal, & rebuild their lives and communities.”  The 2011-2012 Art Prodigy Exhibition Tour is just one of the events helping to raise awareness for such organizations through Art.   For more information on Doctors without Borders (MSF) visit them at http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/
