Sept. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- HAMMONTON, N.J. – Andrew Young didn’t need to look far to find Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

The president of TruBlu Carpet Care, LLC, a carpet cleaning company that uses all-natural chemicals based in Hammonton, need only look towards his own father, Joseph, and wife, Sandra, both of whom have given many hours mentoring and simply spending quality time with area youths in need of positive role models.

It’s something Young wishes he could do himself, but the time pressure of running a year-old business, along with its parent company, Garden State Commercial Cleaning Services, LLC, and servicing such clients as Six Flags Great Adventure and Atlantic Cape Community College, has just precluded him from making the necessary commitment.  So when TruBlu began looking for a way to give something back to the community, at a time when many residents are getting their homes back to tip-top shape after a summer of kids tracking in dirt and mud, it was a no-brainer.

During September, October and November, TruBlu Carpet Care will donate $25 per house cleaning to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic & Cape May Counties.  In each of those months, TruBlu will also hold a drawing for a free whole-house carpet cleaning (up to four rooms, plus hallways), yet another way to reward what Young calls a very supportive community.

“There are so many children in our area who are lacking one parent, or whose parents are just working so much to make ends meet they can’t spend enough quality time with them.  Having been blessed with being raised by two very present parents, it’s something I’m passionate about,” says Young, whose family still lives in Hammonton.

TruBlu Carpet Care and Garden State Commercial Cleaning (2006), are very much family owned and operated businesses.  Andrew is company president, while Joseph is CEO.  His mother, Cheryl Young, handles bookkeeping duties, and wife Sandra and aunt, Gail Matthews, also help out with customer service.

“Like any family business, it can be very interesting at times, but at the end of the day, we all have the same goal – providing the very best service we can do for our customers, while making minimal impact on the environment,” says Young.

Area residents can enter the drawing by texting TRUBLU to 96362.  No purchase is required.  Winners will be announced on http://www.Facebook.com/SouthJerseyCarpetCleaning and the company’s website, http://www.TrueCarpet.com.

Garden State Commercial Cleaning Services, LLC and TruBlu Carpet Care, LLC, are minority-owned, family-owned and operated green cleaning companies focused on healthy and all-natural cleaning services. The company offers a full range of office cleaning and janitorial services utilizing Green Seal certified non-hazardous and non-toxic cleaning products. The company’s cleaning practices are designed to protect people against allergies or respiratory health problems. TruBlu Carpet Care offers green in-home carpet, hard floor, upholstery and tile and grout cleaning.  For more information visit www.gscleaners.com or http://www.truecarpet.com.
