Paleo diet or the Paleolithic diet is a kind of diet program that allows us to eat that we are born to eat. Scavengers, wild hunters, the cavemen in the paleolithic times were eating only animal meat, raw vegetables and fruits and they would have coconut water or water to quench their thirst. They did not have the time to count the calories of the food that they were eating for they know that the calories do not matter. It is what kind of calories they put in their bodies that count.

Vegetarian Paleo diet is all about combining the benefits of going vegetarian and paleo at the same time to give you the kind of optimum health and body that you desire. Those who are allergic to dairy can really benefit from this diet to the very core. The vegetarian paleo diet is perfect for people who want to fight diabetes and high blood pressure The vegetarian paleo diet is low on salt and sugar --- paleo dieters would prefer to use chilli or garlic powder for taste purposes.

The vegetarian paleo diet has been a target of extreme vegans thinking meat is indeed encouraged but the beauty about paleo is that it is all about the natural thing in this world. And as a follower of such diet, you have all the natural choice to either eat meat or not. If you think you can get your protein from eggs and nuts then so be it.
