Sept. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Registration is underway for this year’s Kansas Jubilee: eBay to eCommerce national conference for online sellers, and spaces are filling up fast. A grassroots initiative sponsored in part by Fort Hays State University College of Business and Leadership and supported by the FHSU Small Business Development Center, the two-day event takes place September 30-October 1 at Fort Hays State University Memorial Union Conference Center, 600 Park St., Hays, KS.

Ecommerce experts from across the country will lead seminars and workshops covering the eBay, Amazon, Addoway, and Bonanza platforms along with catalog photography, domestic and international shipping, legal and tax issues, social networking, and more. The nationwide conference also offers round-table interaction with the experts and dedicated networking sessions. A Basics of eBay Selling class will be held on Friday only.

Among those speaking at the Kansas Jubilee will be Jim “Griff” Griffith, Senior Manager for Seller Advocacy at eBay, author of The eBay Bible, Dean of eBay Education, and host of eBay Radio; Rich Matsuura of eBay; and Cliff Ennico, attorney, small-business tax expert, and author of The eBay Business Answer Book and Small Business Survival Guide.

Other presenters include Kathy “Kat” Simpson, an eBay PowerSeller with more than 15,000 feedback, who will discuss optimizing a business on eBay. Fredrick Nijm, co-founder of Addoway, will address social networking for profit as well as Addoway itself. Judy Oglesby will talk about Bonanza.  EBay Hall of Fame member, eBay Education Specialist, and eBay Certified Business Consultant Uncle Joe Adamson will teach catalog photography.

In addition, there will be a special presentation of “Thrifting With the Boys” by Jason Smith and Bryan Goodman, who were featured at the June 2011 eBay Radio Party in Las Vegas, NV.

The Kansas Jubilee is designed for small business owners currently selling online and aspiring sellers wishing to start an ecommerce enterprise. It will be of interest to Chambers of Commerce, economic development organizations, small business development centers, and other agencies that assist small and micro businesses in developing a plan for expansion into ecommerce.
