September 17 Ageless Radio will Feature Substance Abuse, Ms. Senior America, and a Dental Expert

Sept. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Ms. Senior America, Dr. Kimberly Moore, will be featured on Ageless Radio on September 17, 2011.  Dr. Moore is a practicing dentist in St. Thomas, VI  and won the crown representing the US Virgin Islands in the Ms. Senior America pageant in 2010.  Moore received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 from University of Missouri Dental School after a number of years teaching in St. Louis.    She practiced dentistry in CA and FL before moving to St. Thomas almost twenty years ago.   The Ms. Senior America pageant was organized to emphasize and give honor to women who have reached the Age of Elegance.  The parent organization of the pageant, Senior America, Inc., is a non-profit designed to enrich the lives of seniors and to tap their energy to enrich lives of others.    Read more about the Ms. Senior America organization at http://www.senioramerica.org. The 2011 pageant will take place in Atlantic City, NJ October 2-October 7, 2011.

Ageless Radio will also host a spokesperson from The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA.    Betsy Farver is Director of Development.   Farver will discuss her time as a counselor at the center and how substance abuse impacts adults over 50 and their families.   The Betty Ford Center opened in October, 1982.  Mrs. Ford was active on its Board until her recent death in July, 2011.  The Center's mission is to provide effective treatment services for alcoholism and other drug dependencies.   Find more information about The Betty Ford Center at http://www.bettyfordcenter.org.

Rounding out the show is Dr. Richard Thomas, Jr. of Savannah.   Dr. Thomas is an expert in cosmetic dentistry and other procedures for jaw and facial pain related to issues of the teeth and mouth.  Dr. Thomas graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and completed post-doctorate work at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.   Thomas will talk about new procedures and innovation in materials and techniques.
