Sept. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Our Kids Media is proud to announce, in partnership with The Quebec Association of Independent Schools (QAIS), its National 2011 Private School Expos Tour line up for the fall. Parental interest in private education has continued to climb over the past few years despite recent economic concerns. Building upon record-breaking attendance, Our Kids Media will begin its tour in Montreal on September 18, 2011

The Montreal Expo will not only connect families with leading school representatives, but it will also showcase important seminars that will cover key topics that are particularly relevant to students and families in Quebec. Topics such as:

-   How to choose a school
-   What makes a school unique?
-   What’s the admission process?
-   How do we apply?
-   English school eligibility under Bill 115
-   What is Bill 115 and why is it important in Quebec?
-   How do I get a Certificate of Eligibility?
-   How does the point scoring process work?
-   Student life – International trips and community service projects

"Last year we were amazed by the enthusiastic reception to our expos. We knew the benefits were still there, but weren't sure if families considered private school as a real option," says Agatha Stawicki, Publisher of Our Kids Media. "It just proves that even in tough times, the quality of a child's education will always be a priority."

The number of attending parents and children exceeded expectations by about thirty per cent for all four of 2010's events, held in Montreal, Toronto, Halton-Peel and Vancouver. Many families have traveled from as far as the United States, Mexico, Japan and Hong Kong to research the private school options and take advantage of the popular and thought provoking seminars.

“This is the most informative event we have attended, we were able to find schools for all our three children in one day.” – 2010 attendee, Parent of Three

As economic times continue to improve, Our Kids Media is confident that the benefits of a private school education, such as small class sizes, enriched academics, and close parent-teacher partnerships, will make the upcoming 2011 series of Expos an even greater success.

The National 2011 tour schedule includes:
Montreal: Sunday September 18, 2011- Hilton Montreal Bonaventure
Toronto: Saturday October 15, 2011 - Roy Thomson Hall
Halton-Peel: Sunday October 23, 2011 - Oakville Conference Centre
Vancouver: Sunday November 27, 2011 - The Westin Bayshore
