PR Maven Names Asha Spacek, "Influential Woman In Business," hosted by TCW Magazine
June 2011- Hosted by TCW Magazine (a woman based lifestyle publication), Maven Chicago names Asha Spacek along with 24 other industry professional women "Influential Women in Business" titled, "Bizy Bees" courtesy of the monthly event, 'Diva Series.'

"I hold this industry at such a high regard, I feel that while I may be on to certain concepts and have obtained some successes, my voyage has just begun- I have so many things I want for the artists, models, and my personal brand, but for now, I am more than gracious and appreciative of this acknowledgment."

Maven also hosts the male-version of the Diva Series (appropriately titled the Divo Series) at the House of Blues Foundation Room the second Wednesday of each month.
According to Vargo, the word Divo means ‘male superstar’ in Italian. The Diva Series is male-friendly and many men come out to support the successful ladies they know and love. The Divo Series honors influential and successful men in Media, Marketing, Sports, Fashion, Music TV and much more.
The group of Divas and Divos consistently grows each month and many attendees walk away with new Facebook friends, business cards, dinner plans and business connections.

First the facts:
Asha Spacek is the Artistic Director and Founder of UR SuperModels, recently appointed contributing event writer for FCM Magazine, 2012 image consultant for a pro status trainer, and pending board member for a local non-profit organization. She is often called upon as a youth & female guest speaker and volunteer within the Chicago and surrounding communities.

When Asha is not developing the works of artists or models, she loves image styling/consulting media personalities, some celebs, and high profile women. "Successful women are like models, Asha notes, "and sometimes more willing to listen to lifestyle advisory," she laughs. One of the lead managers for UR SuperModels, she can be found teaching them industry basics, business branding for life after modeling, and truly developing their inside and outside imagery, which [she's been told] is becoming more of a rarity with management companies today. Despite many thinking she is in her early to mid twenties, Spacek is a single parent (early thirties) of a teenage son, twice divorced. She suggests to the models that hard work and determination should be shared with a significant other, not instead of. "I have lost so many talented models to boyfriends/girlfriends, or family not understanding the measures of sacrifice and separation from daily activity to become a successful model." She reinforces, "You are extraordinary, not ordinary, so have faith and not fear, that you have what it takes, but it will not happen overnight." Select models take her advice, and others become uninterested or eventually released from the company for questionable behavior.
