Our SRU enclosure is made from billet aluminum making it 35 percent stronger and lighter than a casting. It’s also faraday cage ideal for EMP proofing.”

The new True-Rugged MRS-G7 ruggedized server class computer is able to withstand liquids, chemicals, sand, dust and fine particle infiltration. It has the versatility to operate in altitudes where atmospheric conditions would cause others to fail. The MRS-G7 SRU enclosure is IP68 NEMA 6P and MIL-STD-810 compliant for environmental conditions temperatures shock and vibration.

“This amazing computer is perfect for military and industry applications in tough desert and sea environments where dust, sand and salt water put other machines to rest,” Nunez said. “This new server style machine can really take the abuse of the toughest environments.”

The True-Rugged MRS-G7 offers state of the art technology and processing power in a footprint that only measures 12 inches wide by 11.75 inches deep by 2.5 inches high with customizable front panel and rear connectors. Thanks to proprietary cooling technology, it is easily the most robust and high performance system of its grade on the market.

The True Rugged MRS-G7 leverages the newest generation Intel® Core™ i7-2710QE 2.1 GHz quad core technologies with Up to 16 GB of DDRIII Ram. It also provides DVI video outputs, 10/100/1000 Gigabit NIC, WiFi wireless networking and up to 6 USB ports. Storage of up to 1 Terabyte is available utilizing SATA II 3Gb/s solid state drives. Operating system systems supported include Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Windows XP, Vista and Windows7 (embedded, 32 and 64 bit versions). Power may be provided from any 10-30 VDC source or from other Mobile Rugged battery and power solutions through a military grade connector for field operations..
