10 years after September 11th. America will never waiver.

Ten years after September 11th, the United States continues to be the strongest nation in the world. Terrorists are weakened and in retreat. America remains united pursuing those who would harm the United States.

Sept. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- On September 11, 2011 the United States was viciously attacked without warning by terrorists who hijacked four civilian aircraft.  The aircraft was crashed into the the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and another crashed into a field in Shanksville, PA.  Terrorist targeted symbols of American strength and success not only to destroy life and property, but  to attack the values and freedoms that the American people hold dear.

Through the efforts of the military, intelligence agencies and law enforcement the United States has relentlessly pursued terrorists and those who would seek to harm America.  The United States has captured or eliminated terrorist leaders, including the terrorist leader who was responsible for the attacks of September 11, 2001.  Law enforcement, the military and intelligence agencies have been continually at work protecting the United States since September 11, 2001.  Because of the work and dedication of the brave men and women of those forces, no attacks have been carried out on America since 9/11.

Although ten years have passed since the senseless act of terror was inflicted on the nation, the passage of time has not diminished the pain caused by the loss of nearly 3,000 lives on September 11, 2001.   Those who perished in the attacks of September 11th must be honored and remembered. Out of respect for those who perished and the families they left behind, and with unshaken resolve, we must never forget them.

Thanks and gratitude is appropriate to the men and women in the armed forces of the United States who risk their lives in the defense of this great nation.  With the resolve and the strength of the American people, the United States will continue to be a bastion of freedom and liberty.  The Towers may have fallen, the Pentagon may have been attacked, but the American spirit endures and the flag still stands for freedom. Freedom and liberty will never be extinguished by cowardly acts of terrorism.  God bless those who perished on 9/11 and the families, friends and loved ones they left behind and God bless the United States of America.
