Jeddah, 1st August 2011: LG Electronics, the global leader in IT solutions, in cooperation with Engineering Resources Co. (ERTEC) LG's appointed distributor for IT solutions, have provided MOE's laboratories & training centers  with LG Network Monitors & the latest Projector systems.
In this occasion, Mr. Abdullah A. Al Thakafi, MOE's Director General in Jeddah has opened recently the Educational Training & Scholarship Programs Center (ET&SPC), in Jeddah in the presence of Mr. Saad Al Qarni, the Head of (ET&SPC),   in Jeddah, Mr. John Lee, Managing Director of LG Electronics, KSA & Mr Ali Al Saflan, and Executive Director of Engineering Resources Co. (ERTEC).
The Educational Training & Scholarship Programs Center in Jeddah comes in line with the kingdom's ambitious policy to turn education into a turning point for development & growth in KSA; hence education is free in KSA. MOE is responsible for building new schools & developing the education level in the kingdom, It also spent lots of effort & amounts to improve training for MOE's staff to increase the efficiency of the Saudi teacher, therefore; they have built many educational centers all over the kingdom.
LG Electronics have made a presentation showcasing the latest IT solution provided to MOE by Eng. Khaled Abu Zaid, B2B Director, LG Electronics & Eng. Abu-Bakr Othman, Operations Manager of (ERTEC).
Mr. Saad Al Qarni, the Head of (ET&SPC) in Jeddah said "We appreciate this initiative by ERTEC & LG Electronics to support & equip the new educational training center which is dedicated to train teachers & staff of the MOE on the modern teaching skills".
Mr. Qarni added, "This educational center is the first in KSA to use the new LG networking monitors & soon we are planning to open 7 more educational centers in Jeddah serving almost 40,000 teachers & MOE staff, we have started such initiative in Jeddah & hope to implement it on a larger scale in other areas".
