Songs & Poems Being Accepted for A Little Tenderness - Artists Against Domestic Violence Compilation

Sept. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Bring a little “Tenderness” to a national epidemic:
Domestic Violence and Abuse

At a time in our nation when a woman is battered every nine seconds, but there are more animal shelters than safe havens for victims of abuse and domestic violence, your help is greatly needed.

As part of an ongoing effort towards domestic violence and abuse awareness, I’m Catholic Cool, The Tenderness Campaign, and the Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program are producing “A Little Tenderness – Artists Against Domestic Violence and Abuse.” This compilation will be a collection of Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Gospel/Inspirational, Dance music and poetry/spoken word works by internationally known recording artists and seasoned professionals from around the world.

Royalties will not be paid for this promotional fundraiser. Artists retain all rights to their recording and must have the right to submit the track (no covers, non-cleared samples, etc.). By submitting a track for the A Little Tenderness – Artists Against Domestic Violence and Abuse compilation, the artist will allow The Tenderness Campaign to distribute this track on this compilation series only. The Tenderness Campaign will be selling the download of the compilation for $5. (Subject to change) This tax deductible purchase will benefit the Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program. http://www.BCOP.org

The Tenderness Campaign will employ a robust online and offline marketing/promotional effort for A Little Tenderness – Artists Against Domestic Violence and Abuse compilation project. Artist’s picture, bio and links to your website will be included on the website housing the compilation project. Artists featured on the compilation CD may be chosen to take part in concert events and other live performances.

The release date for the completed project is October 1, 2011…the first day of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  The Tenderness Campaign has extended the submission deadline to Sept 23, 2011. (MP3 and Bio/Website)
