9 to 5 Seating's Corporate Headquarters Completed

Sept. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Ware Malcomb is proud to announce that design and construction have been completed for 9 to 5 Seating's new Corporate Headquarters. 9 to 5 Seating is a green, vertically integrated manufacturer specializing in the design and production of ergonomic office seating systems.

Ware Malcomb provided a variety of integrated design services for this build-to-suit, including architectural, interior design, graphic design, civil engineering, and LEED services. The new 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located at 3211 Jack Northrop in Hawthorne, California. The building was designed with a modern aesthetic that integrates clean lines with a vibrant canopy and architectural accents to enhance the modern appearance.  

The new facility’s interior space features:
•   Corporate Office Environment with ample natural light
•   Branded Graphics Environment
•   State-of-the-Art Warehouse
•   Modern Manufacturing process and equipment
•   LEED Signage

The project is targeting LEED® NC Gold Certification and plans to incorporate the following green features:
•   Brownfield Development
•   Alternative Transportation Options
•   Incorporation of Solar Panels
•   Quality Control of Stormwater runoff
•   White Roof to decrease heat island effect
•   Use of Water Efficient Landscaping
•   40% Water Reduction
•   Improve Energy Performance by 22%

Client representation and project management was provided by Creative Space (www.creativespace.us) of Hollywood, California.

Ware Malcomb also provided branded graphics for 9 to 5 Seating's showroom for Neocon, located at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, Illinois.  The firm is also providing ongoing graphic design services to 9 to 5 Seating.
