By: Special Events Management Location is 2000 W. Roscoe (at Damen) in Roscoe Village. Hours are 6:00-10:00 p.m. on Friday, and 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. on Saturday. NEW at this popular post-Labor Day happening: It has been expanded to Friday evening and Saturday (vs. Saturday's only in years past). AND it has added a second stage on Saturday featuring an eclectic mix of Irish music and dance acts. Raw and cooked oysters will be sold by the Village Tap Bar & Grill, 2055 W. Roscoe. In addition to Guinness brew (and other Diageo beer brands), the lineup on the main music stage is heavy on popular '80s and '90s acts including iconic British electro-popsters The Human League; California alt-rockers Alien Ant Farm; and Canadian synthpop/New Wavers Men Without Hats. Also performing are lauded local indie popsters Scotland Yard Gospel Choir. IN ADDITION, a second stage (coordinated through Chicago's Irish-American Heritage Center) on Saturday will showcase Irish entertainment. Among the lineup: dancers The Cunningham's & Friends; the traditional Irish music of Chicago Reel; Irish-American rockers The Chancey Brothers; and (while he's visiting the U.S.) acclaimed Dublin folk singer George Murphy. Gate donation of $7 benefits the Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce.
