Larry Bortles Joins The Usa Blue Pie Team!

Sept. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Over the past forty years, Mr Bortles has been the principal and/or executive officer responsible for over US$500 million of capital investment and development in the USA mainland, Hawaii and Fiji. As an integral part of this activity, Mr Bortles has been an active venture capitalist, raising substantial amounts of equity capital by way of private offerings for ventures that he has established.

Mr Bortles established a real estate property management and brokerage firm in Hawaii, with 130 salespeople and over 4,000 condominiums under management, representing over US$1.5 billion of current market value. Integral to this firm’s success was his creation of entirely new accounting, client reporting and management information systems that continue today as widely used standards for the property management industry.

Mr Bortles is a technology innovator and has designed and written investment analysis programs as an integral part of obtaining his MBA from Harvard University.
Upon obtaining his MBA, he started and managed one of the main investment consulting departments for one of the world’s largest CPA and consulting companies. This practice was applied worldwide within 2 years of being established. Under his personal direction, real estate development feasibility analyses were accomplished for more than $1 billion of prospective hotel, hospital, residential, industrial and resort development programs. All of this was based upon Mr. Bortles’ approach towards providing his consulting clients with innovative and risk-sensitive alternate perspectives on prospective ventures together with ranges of possible investment performance.
In 1999, trading on his IT skills, he co-founded the Amphil Tech Inc www.amphiltech.com, which has concentrated its resources upon creating and maintaining high-end custom web-based business systems for its international clientele.

Recognizing Mr Bortles’ extensive project organisational and management skills, he was asked in 2009 to join the board of Shanghai-based Sustainable Energy Asia Ltd. as its Chairman. Larry lead a team of professionals to determine the feasibility and secure the funding for green energy projects that capture and convert existing coal mine methane to energy.

Larry is a vital part of the Blue Pie team. His decades of finance and commercial structuring and investment knowledge are invaluable and provide Blue Pie with a market leading competitive edge in the convergent digital entertainment markets. Larry is passionate about the entertainment industry and Blue Pie's global brand development.

Larry's personal interests include fitness, swimming, playing underwater hockey, dog training, bow hunting and photography. Larry also enjoys listening to the vast and varied Blue Pie catalogue as well as watching some of the many titles in the Blue Pie rapidly expanding film and video library.
