Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Research and Investigation of the Paranormal (R.I.P) will be conducting a paranormal investigation of “The Graffiti House” in Culpepper, VA, on Saturday, September 10th. “The Graffiti House” was used as a field hospital and headquarters by both Union and Confederate troops during the Civil War and boasts a long history of paranormal activity.   This investigation is being filmed and will be released in October 2011 as a webisode in the hot new Internet TV series, “The R.I.P. Files,” available as video on demand via Mingle Media TV Network:  http://www.minglemediatv.com/RIPFiles.html.

“We’re really looking forward to this investigation,” founder/producer Patricia Marin said. “We already have confirmation from a number of credible witnesses that there are spirits at this historic location. We’ll be using various experimental techniques to try to make contact with them and learn their stories.” This episode of the popular paranormal series will also feature a Spirit Circle, as well as a Ghost Box session.

R.I.P., headquartered in the Washington DC area, was founded and is still led by two female investigators, Patricia Marin and Lisa Linden.  “The R.I.P. Files” is produced by Marin Group Productions LLC, a woman-owned video production company specializing in unique paranormal programming. Marin Group Productions LLC, based in northern Virginia, recently signed a contract for worldwide distribution of “The R.I.P. Files” and additional paranormal series and specials via television broadcast, syndication, and DVDs/video on demand downloads.  Marin Group Productions is also involved in co-production of a new paranormal series called “Beyond the Veil.” Along with partners Gabriel Media Group and Moto Media, Marin Group Productions and some members of the R.I.P. team will be heading to Chicago in November to shoot three pilot episodes of the new show, which is aimed specifically at cable television.

Television and print journalists who would like to report on the filmed investigation should contact Patricia Marin for additional information.
