Follow on Google News | RecruitMilitary to Present Civilian Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in LA Area on October 6Cincinnati, OH -- RecruitMilitary will present a civilian employment, business-ownership, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers with military backgrounds at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California (Greater Los Angeles), on October 6.
RecruitMilitary expects more than 30 employers, franchisors, and educational institutions to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are Argosy University, Concorde College, DeVry University, Georgia School of Construction, G4S Secure Solutions (USA), Grand Canyon University, ICDC College, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Lockheed Martin Corporation, the Los Angeles City Fire Department, the National Cemetery Administration of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Veterans Employment Program (NVEP) of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Primerica, Snap-On Tools, Southern California Edison Company, T-Mobile, UEI College, Union Institute and University, the United States Department of State, and Verizon Wireless. RecruitMilitary (http://www.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919. RecruitMilitary has scheduled 13 additional Expos for 2011. Those events will take place in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Miami, Norfolk, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, and Tacoma.
