European Benzene imports grow in Q2 2011

European imports of Benzene have grown significantly in the second quarter of 2011, according to official government statistics released year to date.

Sept. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- European imports of Benzene have grown significantly in the second quarter of 2011, according to official government statistics released year to date. With statistics for June not yet in, Q2 import volumes of Benzene are already higher than import volumes in the first quarter. Total Q2 imports amounted to 37.437 metric tons, compared to 20.099 metric tons in Q1 2011. Imports from India grew by 64% compared to Q1, while some spot cargo´s made their way to Europe as well.
Compared to the same period in 2010 (Jan-May), European Benzene imports are up almost 29%.
