Music Venue Still Remembered After 28 Years

Sept. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Jay Lewallen, from Reunion Blues, takes you on a journey through one of his best music memories, the P.B. Scotts Music Hall in Blowing Rock, NC. Jay lets you know why this music hall that has been closed for 28 years had such a profound effect that a "Remembering P.B. Scott's Music Hall" Facebook Page has been created.

Jay starts his journey and review from his first time in the music hall, "...I felt like I had entered the coolest place in the world. That same feeling came over me every time I went in."  He then leads us down memory lane from seeing the Dixie Dregs with Steve Morse to his own show at "Local Band Night".

This review reminds us that the setting where we hear music maybe just as important as the music itself. Music can illicit an emotional response but when that is coupled with a visual and tangible object such as P.B. Scott's Music Hall then then you have a recipe for something special.
