The Prime Minister and Cabinet Office accrue new Head of DigitalNick Jones has been named as the new Head of Digital for the PM and Cabinet Office.

The previous Head of Digital for the Prime Minister and Cabinet Office resigned from the post in June. Risha Saha left the high-powered role to become Regional Director of Hill & Knowlton across Australia, the Middle East and South & Central Asia. At this time the COI are awaiting its new direction and strategies to be put in place while the Cabinet Office works out a transition plan and new structure government communications; It is not yet clear how Nick Jones intends to make his mark in the online political communications world; it has been suggested that there will be a dramatic overhaul of the COI’s £250m annual media spend. This is bound to include the streamlining of public sector communications, with more than an estimated 120 digital suppliers to the COI potentially being impacted- WPP media agency and M4C included in this.
