Integrating Services to Reduce Homelessness in Australia

Governments and communities are working hard to implement significant reforms to reduce homelessness.

Sept. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- It is necessary however to raise the standard of service provision and increase cross-sector integration, as recognised by the new homelessnes National Quality Framework.

The restructuring of resources to achieve a better connected service system – "key to achieving long-term sustainable reductions in homelessness" (COAG, NPAH) is inherently challenging however, in breaking through typically silo oriented approaches to service delivery.

The 2nd Annual Integrating Services to Reduce Homelessness conference unpacks the concept of integration and its essential role in progressive homelessness policy.

Via a series of case study presentations from senior government and non-government representatives at all levels, you will be privy to strategy that is achieving long term outcomes in reducing homelessness, whilst increasing sustainable pathways.
Draw key learnings on how to:

-Improve client housing, health, justice, education and employment outcomes
- Assess and implement integrated service delivery models appropriate to your organisation
- Measure and track against National Partnership Targets and increase accountability
- Utilise the latest data analysis techniques to identify needs and inform future strategy
