Financial Seminar & Dinner with Quinnipiac University Economics Chair Sept. 21 in Cheshire, CT

Sept. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- EVANS Group Financial Advisors, LLC in Cheshire will host a free educational seminar on Wednesday, September 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 PM focusing on trends in today’s economy. Three financial experts, including Dr. Christopher Ball, Chair in International Economics Quinnipiac University, will present timely information for investors.

Michael Evans, President of EVANS Group Financial Advisors, LLC, commented, “The economic crisis has shaken the confidence of investors. Understanding today’s current economic climate, and the financial opportunities available, can help to rebuild that confidence. This is the first in a series of free dinner seminars we will be offering to educate and empower investors.”

During the September 21st presentation, Dr. Christopher Ball will be the evening’s keynote speaker on “Dealing with Debt, Dips and Doubts”. Keith Yoreo, Regional Vice President of Transamerica Capital, and Brian Campbell, Managing Director of Wells Real Estate Funds, will also provide valuable insights into today’s economic activities and investment arena. All speakers will be available to answer questions during the program.

The seminar will be held September 21, 2011 at the EVANS Group Financial Advisors offices located at 1120 South Main Street in Cheshire. The event will begin at 5:30 PM with a catered dinner being served by Fratelli’s of Southington. The keynote address by Dr. Christopher Ball will begin at 6:00 PM, and all speakers will conclude by 7:30 PM.
 
Established in March 2011, EVANS Group Financial Advisors, LLC was formed by Michael Evans, a prominent business and community leader in the Cheshire area. Evans is affiliated with the national brokerage firm, Hornor, Townsend and Kent, Inc. During the past six years, Michael Evans has won the firm’s Peak Producer Award and the Royal Blue Club Award numerous times.

Between 2006 and 2011, Evans was a Financial Advisor with NEi Financial in Cheshire. In 2000, he opened the Edward Jones Investment Cheshire office, and he achieved partnership with that firm in 2003. For seven years, Evans was a Financial Consultant with Fleet Investments in Cheshire. Evans passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in 1985 after studying at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland in the spring of 1983, and after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Providence College in 1984.
