B.A.D Does Good With Tiff® Celebrity Gifting And Style Lounge

Sept. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- B.A.D PR is announcing their first annual Premier Celebrity Gift Lounge held during the Toronto International Film Festival® taking place on September 10th and 11th situated in the stunning Yorkville room at Toronto’s only five star hotel, The Hazelton.  The beautiful space designed by Chandelier Interiors will dazzle celebrity and media alike as the Lounge will play host to product and service vendors from all over the globe.

With over 20 vendors, The Premier Gift Lounge focuses on gifting original, sustainable, ecofriendly, high end products. Founders Kelly May and Shaun Marq have a combined 7 years of gift lounge experience in addition to the 6 years they have been working with TIFF® though Canadian film support and event management.  “We wanted to provide an exclusive experience for film attendees,” states Marq. “A place where they can come and feel comfortable, receive real start treatment in Canada’s most exclusive hotel, and have the opportunity to receive and try some amazing products.”

The private Lounge includes a Red Carpet Ready celebrity style room set up to dress celebs for their Red Carpet Premiers and events. Hair Sponsor Greg May of Greg May Hair Architects will be taming locks, and famous celebrity makeup artists and stylists will provide the face paint and attire. Both international and Canadian designers will be outfitting the film world’s elite.

The Premier Gift Lounge is excited to have minggy.com on board as event sponsor. The newest in social media to hit the net, minggy is launching an interactive site designed to help the user create events or postings for things they want, need, or desire. minggy does all the legwork and emails out local businesses where they will be able to bid on your job, allowing the businesses to come to you! Users can also browse the minggle board and look for fun events to attend, business to prospect or for interesting people to meet. With minggy, the possibilities are endless. The “minggle lounge” will be set up within the suite as an interactive media area where guests can play with the new website, learn about the services it offers, and play various games all to help out celebrity selected charities.

The Premier Gift Lounge will be running a nationwide contest in partnership with minggy.com where the public can enter to win the chance to become a “Celebrity for a Day”. Winners will be picked up by a limo from any location within the GTA, brought to the Lounge to receive star treatment and have the opportunity to attend a premier screening. Gift bags, the chance to meet and greet with celebrities, hair, makeup as well as wardrobe will all be provided to the winners before they get to hit up the red carpet! Contestants must enter online at www.minggy.com, and follow the steps. Contest runs from Thursday September 1st to Thursday September 8th 11:59pm. Winners must be within the GTA during the date for eligibility.
