SPPA Renews Conference and Management Contract with Prime Management Services

Sept. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- The Sunbelt Promotional Products Association (SPPA) renewed their contract with Prime Management Services (PMS) of Birmingham, Alabama.  PMS provides overall association management services to SPPA including planning regional trade shows, board meetings, board support, production of the organization's publications, membership recruitment and retention, web site management and financial management.  SPPA has seen growth in membership and strengthening of their balance sheet since initially contracting with PMS in August, 2008, despite a rough economic environment.  

The organization is hosting a "room format" trade show in Birmingham September 15th, managed and marketed by PMS.  Jim Holmes, President of Sandler Training in Middle Tennessee and co-owner of Tim Shaver and Associates, a business development and consulting firm, will host an educational session "Finding Clients without Cold Calling:
Prospecting via Referrals and Networking".  Other events have been held regularly in Birmingham, Jackson, and Baton Rouge.  Events are being planned for Biloxi, Gulf Shores and New Orleans as part of PMS' strategy to continue to serve the entire region, which has led to the strong growth the organization has experienced.

SPPA is a member-driven organization delivering quality education, trade shows, networking forums and friendship to promotional product professionals in the southeast, primarily those located in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and the panhandle of Florida.  SPPA was formed to advance the image of promotional products and their use in the Sunbelt marketplace; promote the highest standards of business among its members and the promotional products industry in general; and create a meeting place for education, idea exchange, and friendship among Suppliers and Distributors.
