Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Recycle your used Halloween costume at the first annual Calgary's National Costume Swap Day™  on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:30am at the South Calgary Community Centre located at 3130 - 16 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta.

This family-friendly event will be one of many registered costume swaps organized this year to encourage people to swap and reuse "outgrown" costumes - to reduce waste and save money!

Please bring your used Halloween costume to the registration table to earn a swap ticket. If you do not have a costume to exchange, you can pay a flat fee of $10/per used costume at the door.

If you are unable to find a suitable reused costume, you may reclaim your original costume if it has not already been claimed by someone else.

Green Halloween® is a non-profit, grassroots community initiative that helps families celebrate healthier and environmentally-friendly holidays, starting with Halloween.
